Kelsey Little

President

Hello! My name is Kelsey Little and I am the President of the Tri-State of Joplin Alumnae Chapter. Currently I live in Joplin with my partner Eli, our sons Sawyer and Greyson, and our dogs Trixy, Flynt, and Drexel. I moved to Joplin in 2011 to start school at Missouri Southern State University, which is where I began my ZTA journey. While a member of the Eta Upsilon chapter I held several ZTA roles including VP of Programming and VP of Membership. Upon graduation I was eager to continue serving the Fraternity and have held several alumnae chapter roles. I am also the Programming Council Advisor for Eta Upsilon at MSSU. I really love Zeta Tau Alpha and hope to connect with every member of this chapter! My email is always open, but if you ever need to schedule a one-on-one call with me please feel free to make an appointment with my Calendly.

Anna Stark

Vice President of Membership

My name is Anna Stark and I will be serving as the VP of Membership! I joined ZTA at Mu Chapter at Drury University in 2012. I served in several officer positions including VPIII- Membership Chairman and Alumnae Relations Chair. I currently work at Pittsburg State University where I serve as the Program Coordinator for Fraternity and Sorority Life. I loved getting to automatically be connected to women in the area when I took a new job where I did not know anyone, and I am excited to work with this team and this chapter on the Tri-State of Joplin Alumnae experience.

Hailey Vanslyke

Treasurer

Hi! My name is Hailey VanSlyke. I was born and raised in the Joplin, Missouri area and am excited to serve as the Treasurer for the Tri-State of Joplin Alumnae Chapter. I recently married my high school sweetheart, Michael, and we have a yellow labrador, Lola. My husband and I love to travel, play board games, and grab ice cream any chance we get. I attended Missouri Southern State University starting in 2014, where I joined the Eta Upsilon chapter. While in Eta Upsilon I served as Treasurer and President. After graduating, I continued my education at MSSU to receive my Master's degree in Human Resource Management. Currently, I work at Prudential Financial as an insurance agent, taking special interest in helping seniors navigate and understand Medicare. I love making connections and helping others, so I'm very excited to continue serving with Zeta Tau Alpha. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me at any time!

Jessica Ross

Historian

Hey there! My name is Jessica Ross and I am serving as the Historian for the Tri-State of Joplin Alumnae Chapter. I am also the Ritual Advisor for the Eta Upsilon chapter at MSSU. I have lived in the tri-state area all my life. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Tyler for four years. We have two fun loving dogs, Heidi and Luna, and we are expecting our first child in December 2020. I graduated from Missouri Southern State University in 2016 with my Associates in Dental Hygiene and a Bachelor’s in Health Science. I have worked as a dental hygienist at Northeastern Tribal Health System for four years. I am very passionate about health care and education! I started my ZTA journey in 2011 where I held multiple positions on the Programming Council and also positions in the Alumni chapter. ZTA has taught me a lot about myself and has given me the opportunity to meet some amazing women, some of which I am lucky enough to call my best friends. I am excited to serve this alumnae chapter and look forward to many new memories!

Kayla Hoffman Pekarek

Secretary

Greetings and Salutations! I am Kayla Hoffman Pekarek and will be serving as Secretary for Tri-State Alumnae of Joplin. I am a Joplin native, attended Missouri Southern State University, and started my Zeta journey. I served two years as both Treasurer and President for Eta Upsilon and, upon graduating, became Financial Advisor and served in that capacity for several years. I was active in Tri-State Alumnae and served Tri-State Alumnae as President, Vice President, and Treasurer and recently am a member of ZTAlways. My sons Garrett and Preston are adults and have moved to different locations to continue the next step of their lives as I once did. I lived in Tulsa for several years and returned to the area to be closer to my aging parents. I am a Personal Banker by day, but my passion is speaking and advocating about Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, and Elder Abuse. I am a current student at Northcentral University online and anticipate graduating with a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology in the fall of 2021. I serve on the Joplin NAMI board, am a summer girl, love the beach, cats, and hope to live near the ocean one day. I look forward to connecting with local Zeta sisters again and creating new sister memories! Have an Amazing Day!
